The front desk staff were AMAZING! They gave great food recommendations, kept us in the same room for two separate bookings, overall some of the friendliest people we’ve met!

The area around the property was very unsafe, run down and dirty. It was very loud around the property, trains and trucks. The room was fine. Very small bathroom.

I was disappointed with this place. There was an a/c unit in the main area and even with it at the lowest temperature and both fans running, the other bedroom was hot. The toilet seat was broken and the toilet paper was the cheapest 1 ply. It was a place to stay and that’s it.

Better than average mattresses but just big enough for two.

My room was plain, but clean and comfortable, with all the expected conveniences—coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator. This is an old-style park at your door motel, very convenient. If you’re a caffeine addict you’ll probably want to stop somewhere for something stronger, but, hey, this is Oregon! Coffee everywhere! I took off one star on the Eco-friendly category because of the disposable plastic coffee baskets the machine uses. The location was ideal for visiting friends in NE Portland. For some reason, Google Maps tries to send you down NE 119th, apparently thinking the locked back gate is the entrance. Ignore that, and just look for the green and gold sign on Sandy. That's the real entrance. The prices are reasonable, and I will probably stay here again the next time I’m in town.
