Residence Villas Mont Choisy

Grosszügige Appartments welche gut ausgestattet sind. Wir waren mit zwei kleinen Kindern dort. Die Studios sind im Verhältniss dazu doch ziemlich klein. Der Mont Choisy beach ist ca 150m entfernt. Allgemein ist Mont Choisy eine eher ruhiger Ort. Grande Baie ist ca 10 Autominuten enfernt. Der Strand ist sehr schön und viel wenig frequentiert.

Впечатления об этом отеле не самые лучшие. Отель очень старый, белье серое от длительного использования. Рядом с отелем мусорная свалка. Пляж Монт Шуази недалеко, но совершенно неухоженный. Купаются в основном местные. Вода, почему то, не прозрачная, хотя, буквально в нескольких метрах, на пляже Тру о Биш она кристально чистая. Несмотря на все это, нам понравилась хозяйка отеля, приятно было с ней общаться. Мы бы не рекомендовали этот отель.

PAS DE SUPERFLU LE JUSTE PRIX

J'ai fait une réservation car j'avais besoin d'un lieu confortable pour dormir avec une connexion wi-fi. Malheureusement le wi-fi était plus que médiocre je devais sortir de la chambre pour me connecter et malgré cela je perdais très très très souvent la connexion. De plus il y avait des rénovations. Je trouve que l’hôtel ne correspond pas du tout à la description. Très déçu

There are some older villas and some newer villas - my family and I (4 adults) were in a 2 bedroom older villa. We arrived late at night in Mauritius, was very dark outside, drove from the airport to the villas. Extremely difficult to find the place at night - as the majority of roads have no lights on at night or even any reflective cat's eyes. As I knew the main roads well I was able to reach the area then rang the number given for Residence Villas Mont Choisy and was given clear directions to the place. I would strongly advise if you have never driven in Mauritius before or don't know the area well to contact Residence Villas Mont Choisy and ask them to arrange pick-up from the airport/get a taxi from the airport to the villas, as roads can be quite dangerous to drive in, expecially at night. The villa was very clean, everyday the bedlinen is changed and villa is cleaned. All of the furniture is old and not modern. The bathroom has an old sink and the shower is not a shower cubicle but instead is a shower area with tiles on the floor and walls. Windows could not be closed in the bathroom - 2 cockroaches got in. One of the things that needs major improvement is the lighting - even when all the lights were turned on it was very dark in the villa, very hard to read books, use the mirror and relax in the villa. Nothing was provided on our first night and throughout our stay, except - toilet paper, soap, bed linen & pillows and handwash. All staff are friendly and helpful.

We (couple with 6 year old daughter) had a great time at the small scale, quiet and relaxed Residence Villas. We had a two bedroom apartment which was very spacious and had a terrace with pool view (all apartments have an outside area and face the pool). The garden and pool area are partly in the shade, which is nice since it can get very hot. We enjoyed the massages at the nice in-house spa. The beautiful and quiet Mont Choisy beach is very nearby, just a short walk. The local busses stop regularly in front of the apartment complex and are a fun way to visit neighboring beaches and villages. Doreen, manager of the complex is almost always present and does a great job in making your stay memorable!

Jag och min familj är väldigt nöjda med vår resa. Att bo ett stenkast från en helt fantastisk strand är perfekt. På stranden fanns det flera matvagnar där man kunde köpa billig lunch, så man slapp ta med sig mat eller gå iväg någonstans att äta. Vi valde att vi ville ha frukost på hotellet och då kom de upp med en bricka till rummet varje morgon med kaffe, te, frukt, bröd, smör, marmelad, juice mm. Vi är nöjda med vår vistelse. Personalen på hotellet är väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma. Ett tips är att hyra en chaufför en dag och åka runt ön och titta. Den södra delen är väldigt vacker med mycket grönska och höga berg.

Résidence Villas Mont Choisy est avant tout un bed and breakfast et non un hôtel Qui plus est il y aurait un gros rafraichissement à faire dans l'appartement N°13, serviettes et linge de lit tout tâchés, pas de torchons, pas de réceptacle pour la brosse des toilettes !!! Carrelage cassé, ampoule grillée, lumières blafardes Les couverts sont au compte goutte, nous avons été obligés d'acheter des petites cuillères ! Le seul point positif est la proximité d'une belle et grande plage mais attention car plage très appréciée des Mauriciens et pour le coup la résidence est envahie durant les week end et perd tout son calme et sortir un véhicule du parking devient un parcours du combattant.

L'hôtel manque d'entretien, piscine pas très propre, équipement de la chambre vieillot qui mériterait un peu de fraicheur. Le personnel de ménage est très agréable les chambres sont propres.
