Hotel Playa Bejuco

nice beach view, huge room, clean, friendly staff, good food, nice beach for a stroll

Wonderful staff. Clean room. Close to the beach. Breakfast.. Peaceful. Good Wi-Fi. Didn´t like the smell by the pool; there are mango trees and the rotten fruit smells awful.

The hotel is about 25 yards from the beach. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the rooms were large, clean and comfortable.

Interesting design, lots of native woods in the room, reception and dining area. 3 minute walk to the beach. Nice shaded pool area with seating. Had 2 meals and both were above average for quality and service.

I would assume a typical mid-budget hotel for Costa Rico. Very nice breakfast in the morning , clean rooms , good wi-fi, nice pool and very friendly staff. We would stay again if we come to visit in this area.

The pool and breakfast and location were great. We will be back. Good value.

Nice hotel and pool. Not much around to do other than beach and nothing within walking distance. The breakfast was good and nice to have options. Our first dinner was excellent so we ate there again and it was just ok, the third dinner was not good at all. The staff was not really friendly. Carlos was the only one that really tried. Very clean hotel and comfortable but the staff just were not really friendly.

Hotel is walking distance to the beach. The bathrooms were in bad conditions. Everything was broken in the room

This hotel is much farther from the San Jose airport than what it advertises. The beach is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there are no chairs or amenities directly on the beach, so if you're looking for bar service or the like, you won't get it. It was super humid and the air barely cooled the room off. The room was musty and had lots of bugs along with a flimsy door that could easily be broken into. Cab service to this hotel costs $120.00 US dollars each way from the airport. Mildred at the front desk was so helpful and attempted to make our stay more satisfying.

The staff was amazing-easily what made our stay memorable! The room itself needs a little updating (just outdated and needs a little love), but it was kept spotless. Outdoor amenities (i.e. pool, spa, restaurant) were fantastic! Location and price point were also excellent. This hotel is located in a quiet, less travelled area, but is close enough to easily drive to both Jaco and Manuel Antonio. I would definitely be staying here again!
