Greenway Woods Resort

The hotel needs to improve on the the rooms. The linen is of poor quality, beds don't even have flat sheets and they are no bed converters for the beds, a flat sheet is utilized to hold the two bed together. The inner is of such poor quality and ill fitting on the duvet.

My stay was pleasant, what impressed me most was the helpful nature of the management, there was a huge accident on the main road, all access roads to the resort were closed, I could not get to the resort using the roads, the closest I could be dropped off was about 3kms away, the resort sent a member of the management team on foot & escorted me to my room, this is what I rate them "going the extra mile".

I had a nice and relaxing stay, the staff were helpful and the surroundings peaceful.

NICE LOCATION

Love the people at the hotel, friendly and helpful. The food was questionable, I ordered a cauliflower and blue cheese souffle was given a "quiche of sorts with carrots, mushrooms and not a hint of blue cheese or cauliflower. The bin in the kitchen of the unit did not have a lid. Gross. The showers had SHOWER CURTAINS - in a hotel room.. my room smelled of urine. The place could use a good scrub down there is a lot of grime everywhere.

A friend and I shared a twin room on our golfing trip to White River. The location was ideal for the White River Country Club and the security seemed to be good. The bar and general facilities were pleasant and the staff friendly and willing to help with all enquiries. The bedroom was compact and the bathroom small (with a bath and hand held shower) but as we were out a lot of the time we did not require a larger room. We stayed at a price that was on offer which made the hotel very reasonable. If I had paid full price I might not have been so happy. I will stay again especially when I am going to play golf at White River.
