Hôtel Brittany & Spa

This was a beautiful hotel in a great location for the Ferry. Staff were very helpful room was lovely. The only down side was the wifi was hard to connect to, took a few hours, but once connected it worked well.

BOOKED BED AND BREAKFAST,WHEN WE CHECKED OUT WE HAD A BILL FOR 336 EUROS FOR 7 DAYS BREAKFAST. BUT WAS NOT TOLD BREAKFAST WAS EXTRA.SHOULD HAVE HAD A FRIDGE/MINI BAR ACCORDING TO OUR BOOKING WHICH IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN A SUIT WE HAD NOTHING VERY DISAPPOINTED WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. BEING RIPPED OFF

While visiting Brittany, we stop for one night in the very nice village of Roscoff. This quiet hotel is 10 minutes walk from the village following a seaside path. The restaurant is expensive but incredible.

Hotel staff friendly and very helpful. Great location looking out on the ocean. Pool was fantastic, but highly recommend the hotel restaurant for dinner. It has a fireplace with real wood fire and great view of ocean. The food was outstanding and service excellent as well. Outstanding!

We stayed for two nights at Le Brittany, Roscoff on 30 September and 15 October. It's in a lovely seafront location within walking distance of the town centre and very convenient for the ferry port. Our room on the first night was disappointingly cramped and overpriced and had almost no view whatsoever; that on the second was still rather small but considerably better, although the bathroom make-up mirror was unusable and needs to be replaced. The windows in the bar were desperately in need of a thorough clean! Reception service was sometimes rather cold and distant; bar service had to be asked for! Restaurant service was for the most part much better; the food, though pricy, was excellent, especially on the second occasion. The wine list is splendid and priced broadly in line with expectations of a Michelin-starred Relais & Chateaux establishment. The Yachtman restaurant has a delightful view and ambience, although the waiter who received our compliment to this effect seemed rather supercilious about it and betrayed a not dissimilarly disinterested attitude when receiving our compliments about the food. A few improvements in the detail are therefore needed in order to bring this otherwise splendid hotel up to scratch. Roscoff is a delightful town with many restaurants, although we certainly doubt that one could eat as well in any of them as one can at Le Brittany. We'll certainly return - and hopefully to report that those improvements have been made!

2 night stay, thoroughly enjoyed for location, quality of facilities and food when taken. Upon given a standard room ,as booked, noticed loud footsteps through ceiling and asked for change. Offered "only available room" at an upgrade to sea view for 150 euros per night! we declined and after a short sharp exchange we were ungraciously moved to a chalet style standard room which had magically become available. Following our frank exchange of views the assistant manager who we were dealing with became most helpful and friendly for the remainder of our visit. Extras expensive although quality of hotel and exchange rate no doubt contribute to this.
