Craftsman Inn

Some construction was being done at time of stay. Roons were not sound proofed, I could clearly hear the conversations below our room, Nice room with porch, Main facility was a little awkward due to covid regulations Overall a great experience. Dining within walking distance. Best to call for dining as several place's stated hours were not correct.Very limited place to eat for breakfast during the week.

Check in was very simple. The owners of the inn sent me a text with info on where to pick up my key. The Inn is upstairs, about 3 rooms. We stayed in the Diamond room. It was quite spacious and even had a cute balcony with 2 seats and a table. The bathroom and bed room are connected, no door. Only weird thing was you can see the bed from the toilet. Also, occasionally to figure out where the lights are. Bathroom was very clean, 2 sinks. Extra towels. A hot tub for 2. Robes. Had L’occitane shampoo/conditioner/soap. A heater in the bathroom, very useful for a cold night/morning. Complimentary cold water in a fridge in the hallway. The room also had a tv. A wine bottle opener and 2 glasses. Only down side for us were the pillows were too fluffy/big, we ended up with neck pain after the first night. Otherwise, bed was big and comfy. I recommend.

Love this bread & breakfast, total privacy & the tub was awesome. Will definitely stay again.

I had a friend help me book a getaway for my husband since he has been incredibly stressed at work. I have no idea how she picked Craftsman Inn but I am so happy she did. While we were hanging in the canopied patio the owner came out an introduced herself and it felt like meeting an old friend. My husband and I stayed at the Helena room with sparkling wine with chocolate and charcuterie. The room was wonderful but the magic happened in our fabulous jacuzzi tub. I though I was surprising my husband with a wonderful getaway and he surprised me in the tub by proposing after 7 years of marriage in the perfect setting. I will be coming back here again, because the memories are worth it and I had no idea Calistoga had so much to offer while staying in a tranquil/inviting place.

When planning a trip to Calistoga, the Craftsman Inn is definitely the place to stay! This place has all the amenities of home from extra towels to tasty snacks, bottled water,refrigerators, face masks,eye masks and ear plugs. I stayed in the Spring Suite and it was in the back of the property so there wasn’t a lot of noise from the main road. It also has a patio that is nice for relaxing after a busy day. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay a welcoming and comfortable one!

Went to this B&B recently and it was as the picture showed, very pretty. Will need to go back again when in Calistoga. It has a sister hotel, just down the road, visited there as well and also pretty.

We stayed in the Spring room which had it's own outside entrance & porch. The room was very cute. Loved the personal snack bags, chocolate treats in the fridge & the bag with masks, hand sanitizer & ear plugs. They have thought of many nice touches to make the stay fun during the pandemic. Loved that we could walk to eat & shop.

My husband and I stayed here our last few nights in California. The room was sanitized, and beautiful, with treats in the fridge awaiting us. Check in required no contact. We had our own small balcony, and there were multiple private spots to relax in the back. I was disappointed that due to Covid 19 limitations on the Inn, that we could not enjoy breakfast there, but my husband and I both received a bag of granola bars, chips, and cookies which we used when traveling down the coast. The bed was large and comfortable, and the jacuzzi enjoyable with large soft towels, bathrobes and all needed amenities.

the property is absolutely breathtaking and very historic. Very romantic get away.
