Great location for a reasonable price in the Napa area. Calistoga is a very quaint little town with some great food options.

Such a great location and easy on all levels.

Very comfortable room, close to downtown.

The place was beautiful and clean. When I booked, I was already in town and the owners were quick sending all the instructions and preparing the room. Everything worked perfectly, the hot water, the spa tub… also, they gave a breakfast voucher with a very fair amount in a nice place. It couldn’t be better!

We had a wonderful stay at the Crafstman Inn in Calistoga and would absolutely stay again. We felt we got a reasonable rate for the area- although it was early April and did not include Fri-Sat. It's within walking distance to downtown and even closer to wineries like Tank and Lola. It was a very simple check-in process (text message with instructions on where to find our key which also included a print out of useful info about our stay. We stayed in the Spring Room which was conveniently located with a private entrance and patio space. There is a nice front porch to sit on as well, but we didn't sit there much as there was construction happening in the lot next to the BBQ place next door. The shower had great water pressure and bed was very comfortable. The room included sweet snack packs and a nice coffee station with at least 2 hot chocolates, 2 teas, decaf, and regular coffees as well as creamers, sugars, stirrers, and plenty of cups/lids. Loved the breakfast vouchers for the Roastery- excellent bagel breakfast sandwiches, coffees, and scones. You have access to plenty of water bottles and there is a bunch of ice in the Inn's kitchen. I believe they recently did some updates and maybe they are moving some things around in the shared kitchen, but the shared kitchen seemed lacking in pots and pans (which probably doesn't matter much to the average guest as most are consistently dining out while in this area). I couldn't find any silverware at first, but reread the check-in letter and saw that they were located in the dining room hutch rather than the kitchen drawers where you would expect. The dining room also contained a bunch of glasses (wine/champagne/etc) and gold plated dishes as well (didn't see any dishes that I would use in the microwave). You can request housekeeping as needed (we requested refreshed towels and trash can our second morning and they ended up doing full room service). Some things to note: There does not seem to be a crosswalk nearby, so crossing the street was a little tricky at times. If you are very sensitive to fragrance, you might want to request towels laundered without fragrance. The fragrance was mild and didn't bother me, but it was enough for me to notice right away on the facial towels. Room nice and clean, bed very comfortable. But I don’t like bath tub because very difficult to get in and floor to swiping when you get wet. I think bathroom is not good for seniors people.

Nice place to stay very quiet and there is a BBQ joint next door that is really good.

Craftsman Inn is a convenient location for an overnight stay in Calistoga, near wineries, restaurants and coffee shops. Easy access to room especially during late checkins. Great wine amenity for VIP customers plus lots of water bottles and snacks!
