Hotel Centrale Spa & Relax

Hôtel situé en plein centre-ville, pratique pour se promener. Les chambres sont spacieuses (chambre supérieure) et au calme. Le personnel (accueil) est très sympathique et cherche à parler le français. La vue sur le toit est sympa, mais en ce début mai, rien n'était installé, pas même les transats..

La restauration est très moyenne (le soir : souvent du surgelé) Le petit déjeuner est correct mais n'est pas inoubliable. L'établissement est très vieillissant, il demanderait un bon rafraichissement. Stationnement des voitures très limité devant l'hôtel (une 1/2 douzaine de place environ). En ce début mai, pas de souci cependant, on a toujours eu une place, mais en juillet-août...

Set within a busy street it offers a few free parking spaces which we managed to secure after our trips out. Initially given room 101 but this smelt heavily of smoke , even though rooms non smoking. Reception did freely change us to room 106 which had a small Juliette style balcony overlooking the busy road but with the shutters and doors closed noise was minimal. Stayed on a half board basis, dinner was a separate menu of 3 appetisers, starters, mains of which you could decide which 2 to pick from , then a side dish if you had opted for a main , it was a selection of 2 sides plus 2 desserts. Green salad was literally just green iceberg lettuce! . Staff were helpful in assisting with translation. Breakfast buffet, usually scrambled egg , but once it had gone it didn't appear to get replenished, along with many sweet options , yogurts, fruit and freshly barista style coffee. If asking for a latte be aware you will only get hot milk!! Sadly the advertised panoramic roof top terrace wasn't opened , no mention of this in any correspondence or at the hotel which was a big disappointment especially as warm sunny weather during our stay .

Already old, needs renovation, the towels didn't smell fresh, exactly the opposite, when we opened the bathroom window, dried peageons poop fell inside, bathrooms were unconvenient, even the floor of the shower was slippery and one of us fell with bruises.... For the price and category very little amenities (for example no slippers), breakfast was under average, especially being on Easter days, they should have put something typical or at least small chocolate in room. Kettle in room not working properly. Having the name Spa Hotel and no Spa at all (or something small and old for additional price) is also strange.

Ubicazione ideale per visitare la città, peraltro veramente ricca di emergenze artistiche e monumentali, a piedi senza l'ansia di dove lasciare la macchina.

Hotel centralissimo, in un bel palazzo, con parcheggio gratis davanti all'entrata. Camere ampie, spaziose, silenziose. Personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. Consigliato!

Non li chiamerei aspetti negativi, ma solo piccole accortezze per migliorare: gli asciugamani di spugna sembrano un po' vecchi e potrebbero essere sostituiti; la colazione potrebbe essere più ricca; il "pacchettino di lucida scarpe" in bagno potrebbe essere sostituito con un altro piccolo confort, meno retrò (per es. la cuffia per la doccia).
