Apartamentos Palmera Beach

If your expecting the Ritz don't come. If your looking for a safe, clean and friendly holiday with ever helpfull staff then book here. Only 200 meters away from a lovely beach. And about a miles walk to the town itself. The town to include bars and eateries comes alive at night and includes a nightly street market. We'll recommended for a family holiday.

We stayed in the self catering apartments for two nights, the staff were extremely helpful, we were able to pay for a late check out and also breakfast. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, we asked for a hair dryer at reception and were able to borrow one for a 20euro deposit. The beach is close by, ten minutes walk to restaurants and supermarket. The maid offered us clean towels every day.

Although our room was cold the hotel overall wasn't too bad. It had a nice pool area and the bar was O.K. The town of Campoamor was quiet, with a nice beach.....but had absolutely zero night-life. We frequently took the public bus service into Torrevieja.....and would stay there next time.

Excellent location, great selection of beaches nearby. The hotel swimming pool was also very good and lots of sun beds were available. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Most of the people staying were Spanish, so kids club was in Spanish, which was a bit disappointing for the kids.

This hotel has a very good standard of staff. Helpful, clean and although you have to use your Spanish, they are a lovely group. Everyone was completely helpful and nice. A place to enjoy a quiet break. Mont i mar beach has most facilities with the supermarket on the way back. No banks....so take enough money till you can find one...San Pedro etc..

was very impressed with the daily change of towels and bed linen. Staff attended to any requests /issues very promptly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this location. I did not dine at hotel but it did appear clean and have a pleasant atmosphere.

We enjoyed our visit to Apts Palmera Beach. Balcony size, very good. Double bed was on the small side. Maid knocked every day whilst we were there for change of towels, loo rolls etc. which was acceptable to us. Buffet was good with a wide variety of choice, especially the desserts! Reception staff, efficient. Bar good with happy service. Surrounding area was sparse. Able to walk to beaches. The local supermarket was a good 15 mins walk up and downhill. Restaurants we ate in were good, especially the first pizza place you come to from the hotel (can't remember the name). Also The Three Witches restaurant was excellent, overlooking a car park but it didn't bother us. All in all a good visit. We think the hotel could do with some updating in places but as its a 2/3 star, does it matter that much? On the beaches there are toilets (key in beach bars), beach bars good with nice food. Weekends packed obviously with locals, so get there early if you want a space near the sea. We would recommend this apartment block, don't go expecting luxury, it was fine and clean, what more could you ask for? Give it a go, we're sure you will like it.

The hotel is in a lovely setting adjacent to an excellent beach. It was very quiet in the area while we were there, i.e. no night life to speak of, but we did enjoy the hotel itself.

Apartment was 2 bedroomed with separate living room (with basic kitchen at one end) and large balcony. Beds are small and firm. It is 1 double bed and 2 singles. The King sized bed that is mentioned must be the 2 singles pushed together? Furnishings are all looking very worn and need updating but are fine for the low price paid. Pool is excellent but was not heated so very cold (April). Onsite = buffet style restaurant that opens at 8:00pm and and Irish bar that sells basic food (pizza / burger etc). Plenty of other restaurants just 10 - 15 mins walk to the south that cover all tastes and styles and a very beach front restaurant 10 - 15 mins north (just past the mariner). Nearest beach is just down some steps just to the North of the hotel but worth walking along this one to the next one North as it's better or walk to the south beach (5 mins).
