No hot water for showering. Never anyone at the desk then on Saturday morning the whole front desk was closed. Asked for floor on first floor due to disability. Was put on third floor and hotel wasnt full.

Dirty room, management would not help! Charged for a fresh towel! Rude maids, desk help is NO help! Rude employees! I'll Never go here again! Not Worth $125 a night!!!!! Hot water or ice cold water, couldn't even take a shower!!!!

The staff were very friendly! I felt safe and it was conveniently located to where I needed to go. I was surprised that for being an extended stay, there was a kitchen but no cups, plates, silverware, etc. A few suggestions for the room I stayed in would be to make sure outside of fridge is cleaned better, make sure smoke detector is not dangling from the ceiling and add some items to the kitchen so that people don't have to buy things to use the kitchen!

Location

The bathroom tub would not drain, staff would not come look because housekeeping only comes every two weeks. Was going to be charged to seat bath towels. No hand towels. Had to buy plates. Silverware etc.

The price was Right. Staff was Friendly & Answered our Questions.

NO Breakfast. Also very disappointed that there were Charges for all Dish Ware. Also charges for any additional Towels.

I booked my stay at Extended Stay America Suites – Appleton through Hotels.com for 9 nights. My wife had total knee replacement surgery, and we felt that she would have too much trouble trying to climb the stairs to our second-floor condo, so we booked a handicapped accessible room in a place with an elevator. We paid for the entire 9-night stay in advance. After staying 5 nights, she was feeling better and her physical therapist told her she could climb stairs. She went home and I went over to the hotel to get our gear and check out. I did not ask for a refund for the 4 unused nights that we already paid for. The hotel informed me that I owed and additional $123.00 because I did not stay long enough to get the weekly discounted rate. I told them I would keep the room for 4 more nights, let it sit empty and owe them nothing. I went home and called Extended Stay America corporate office. They told me the same thing, that I would owe them and additional $123.00. Then they told me I could check out after 7 days and owe them nothing. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. It is also one of the biggest rip-offs anyone has ever tried pulling on me. When I went to check out after the 7th day, there was nobody manning the desk and nobody anywhere to be found to check me out at 1:00 PM. I went back on the 8th day and they said they could not check me out early because I booked the room online through a third-party site. I handed over the keys and left.

The room was clean, but there was a lingering smell. The hotel does accept pets, which we had as well, so we just accepted the smell as being from a previous guest with an animal too. We booked on Hotels.com, and were quoted a specific price per night, for the two weeks. However, upon arrival, our quoted price was not honored, and we were charged over $20 more per night. The hotel Manager, Paula, was not very friendly and quite rude when I went to inquire as to our stay. I asked more than once for an itemized copy of our bill, only to be met with a very terse attitude. Finally, three days later, I was able to get the weekend supervisor to give me a bill. I've worked in both small and large hotels over the years and have never treated a guest the way we were treated. I might try Extended Stay again, but NEVER in Appleton. It's not worth the headache and the attitude from the manager. Plus, when we asked about getting supplies to cook with, we were just told No. I've seen the signs regarding purchasing cookware, but evidently, we weren't even worth that option. Poor management skills and horrible customer service.

I stayed there for a week during Airventure. The room was big and comfortable. The location was OK.

The place is very simple and low quality. The facilities were lacking. The AC was very hard to get to the right temp. No kitchen utenciles or cookware and no kettle or coffee maker. When I asked the front desk they said I have to give the a deposit in order to get a set of pan, coffee maker and utenciles, which I did. The breakfast is not really a breakfast, it is a basket of bagged crackers and some coffee. That's it.
