Great locaction next to our 60th party venue at The George

Businesslike stay

Location.

The Queen bed mattress very very old and uncomfortable, to the point that I slept in the single bed and my wife was very stiff and sore for days after.

Location was perfect, right in the middle of the city centre. The staff were nice, esp Glen at the reception. He was lovely and accommodating, even extended our check out time by an hour. The family room was spacious with two rooms and bathrooms.

It was a little unkept, although that’s expected of an older property. Could’ve been cleaner as well.

My parents stayed here over the course of 5 nights and they really were well looked after by the staff. It was a real treat for them and being right in the heart of Ballarat and they loved there room. it was easy for them to walk for coffee, eateries and the cinema.

Beautifully presented, clean and spacious. Room keeping was a lovely touch leaving our room sparkling clean each day.

Good position in town & secure parking.

Broken lift Carpets dirty - M&M’s on the floor, not overly clean under the bed - we dropped something there that’s how we know, and someone’s dirty socks behind the curtains.
