The staff at front desk was so attentive both nights I stayed they were a great asset to my stay!

I did not like for a single person to be at end of hallway on first floor.. felt uncomfortable for that reason.. And the emptiness in my back view.. Otherwise everything was good!

Bed comfortable. Liked air conditioning available but wouldn't be needed if vent in bathroom worked.

1. Sink drain stopper inop as sink cracked. 2. Shower water got onto floor as shower curtain rod was coming out of walls and curtain slid down to center. 3. HVAC unit casing dirty. Has not been wiped down each time room turned over. 4. HVAC unit mechanics dirty and Preventive Maintenance not performed. When heater put on the debris burned and caused burning smell. 5. Most food in breakfast heavy with preservatives, corn syrup, etc.. Very limited items that were healthy (e.g. green apples and oranges every day). 6. One site noted pet friendly but when checked in signs noted not pet friendly. Sent message to hotel when booked noting we were bringing pet but they didn't respond. Note: the question we asked about something else prior was answered, and hotel sent message later on prior to check in, so presumed our comment about pet coming when not challenged was confirmation). Also room had evidence of prior pets being in room (e.g., damage to the bathroom door). 7. Key cards old and kept losing ability to open door. Blamed us without proof, e.g., they weren't near cell phones. 8. Vent in bathroom inadequate.

We had a ground floor room

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I read a bad review about this place, and I have to say, this was not my experience at all. From the bad review, I was expecting combative staff and dry cereal for breakfast. The breakfast was standard for hotels, which was just fine with us. They even had a waffle machine, which my kids loved. I am gluten-free, which is a challenge wherever I go, so as long as my kids are happy, that is just fine.

Our third time here in three years, and we have enjoyed it each time. A very comfortable bed, higher than most, and a very good breakfast. Very clean and very good staff. High standards are being maintained.

The room was clean, updated and a good size. The bed was comfortable. The room had a fridge and extra seating. The breakfast was convenient and good. We were just passing through this small town, but glad to find a friendly updated place. We ate at Romana’s restaurant, it was good.

There was nothing I didn’t like.
