"I’m sure the hotel is very nice"

Didn’t stay in the end as soon as I found out that there was a traveller camp next door

No mention of a traveller camp next door to the hotel. I have made various requests to booking.com but no one cares enough to investigate. They keep saying that this has been sent to the hotel for their comments and obviously they haven’t replied. My issue is with the description, would never have booked there and this is on booking.com to refund

"Had a lovely stay, staff available were excellent, nice location just a short taxi from Chester."

Stayed in the 4 poster room, bed was extremely large and comfortable, the room had an amazing jacuzzi type bath. The staff were exceptional despite being overworked.

Sometimes there was a wait for service due to staff shortage.

Staff were excellent. Breakfast was great. Bedroom was roomy. Lovely quiet location with beautiful gardens but close to major routes.

Lumpy pillows and duvet. Decor and furnishings very tired looking.
