Lovely welcome. Breakfast was delicious with a good menu. Bed was very comfortable and relaxing.

The manager dealing with our stay was a bit rude and judgemental. It said litherland Liverpool, which was a mistake on my app but she pulled a face when she thought I came from there which was not fair. When we was eating there she was taking to staff and pointing at us which made me feel very comfortable. Not happy but it is what it is

"Absolutely superb and particularly dog friendly."

I stayed with my dog and everything was perfect. We were given a room on the ground floor, next to a door which went straight out into the garden. Everything and everyone extremely dog friendly. Lovely room with extremely comfy bed. Jet bath and twin sinks in the bathroom. Live jazz music in the bar on the Friday night. The owner (Helen) joined us for a drink later on in the night and was absolutely lovely. I cannot comment on the food as I did not eat there (purely for practical reasons). I would recommend very highly and will definitely be returning myself.
