Extended Stay America Suites - Champaign - Urbana

Nothing, we are a touring band and showed up at 2am to check in late, take a shower, and get a few hours of sleep before driving to the next state. We arrived and saw the sign in lobby that says “late check in, no problem. We welcome you.” Except, the clerk told us our reservation was cancelled. No notification was sent to us. No offer to make it right as this was obviously a system error / mistake on the property’s end. I was charged for the room. I asked if we could go ahead and re-book a room on the spot, she told me no, there was nothing she could do. Terrible customer service. Terrible experience. And I still have not received a refund. Do not book here.

The location

When we arrived the first thing we notice was roaches. I did take pictures. When inspecting the bed it was full of hair. Then once l went to take a shower, every towel had long black hair rolled up in every towel. Looked in the shower and it was nasty with hair on the walls and the shower dirty. I have NEVER in my life experienced something like this. This looks bad on you alls part. We will never stay at this hotel again. This shows you guys don't care for your property or guest. This definitely isn't a good look and I'm very upset about. I don't know how or if y'all will make this right in some way but the is unexceptionable!

Price location

Clearly in need of an upgrade in furniture and electric work. Lamp wiring is very loose requiring wiggling to work

Everything the staff was Nice! And It was clean
