Stonefield Castle Hotel

Beautiful castle hotel in an idyllic location on the shore of Loch Fyne. Dinner and breakfast very good, served in a dining room with panoramic views of the Loch.

A wonderful place to stop and rest outside the bustle of the cities. Beautiful water views and onsite dining makes this an easy win for us.

Lovely loch view room with large comfortable bed and sofa only downside was room was cold on the first night but once I turned on the radiator the second day that was fine. Staff friendly and efficient and food excellent.

Spectacular location on beautiful Loch Fyn. Gorgeous castle, food offerings were exceptional, including gluten free, staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located on the mainland at Tarbert. We thought it was on the Isle of Lewis where there is also a Tarbert, a ferry ride and 187 miles away. It would be helpful if this hotel mentioned that it is on the mainland not the Isle.

This property is beautiful. Staff was welcoming.

It was way too short! And based on last minute travel plans, it became even shorter. I wish we had more time to explore the grounds & to sit in the history of the building. The service was also amazing. The front desk staff were very helpful in getting us travel information, as well as offering us a sack lunch due to having to leave before breakfast. Everyone, from check in to the restaurant staff to the bartender were wonderful. We will be back!

Gorgeous setting, friendly staff, nice sized room. Bed was comfortable and a nice shower. Restaurant service was a little hit and miss but the food was lovely (when/if it came!). Bar does great cocktails. Views were amazing.
