Great stay! Very clean. No check in, everything is taken care of when you book. Just a key code to get in. Great spot for the money!

Older building with a rustic design but very well kept and being updated. Staff are quick to respond.

The owner Benjamin was very good in responding to my concerns. This is a good place for the price, and when they get the kinks worked out, it will be even better. Don’t expect a strong flow of water in the shower. First room was ridiculous, so they moved me to another room where it was ok. Like I said, it’s a work in progress and they seem to be working hard getting the place sorted out. One thing that does stand out is that it is still owned by a Veteran. I believe in supporting our Vets as much as possible, so I will be staying there whenever I’m up in the Lake Placid/Jay area.

Not sure where to start … response to my calls were at least 8 hours …the room smelled like a barn, coffee maker leaked all over and wouldn’t even turn on, WiFi did not work, parking lot like an ice rink in the morning … no one on site to address this, although they did leave me a number for contact. Room cold and took hours to warm up… one extra blanket in closet. This should not be listed as a working hotel …. Misleading that there was a restaurant on site which we weren’t informed of until after I paid …very disappointed for sure.

What a cozy place to stay. I love how clean and new the rooms are. Everything is new plus it is worth your money.

I had to book other hotel and leave this place. Wifi password they shared 2 hours after I came, but tv did not work and they kept lying that they are working on it, eventually they said there outage in the whole are while it was working everywhere else, but at this point I already booked Marriott and left. I am used to come here with previous owners and that was excellent place. With new owners I do not believe I would ever go there.

An affordable option just in the middle of ADK best foliage spot. WiFi didn’t work if it’s important to you

Only had a small space heater that won’t heat a small bathroom. Didn’t have any hot water first day, not until 9:00 next day. I was cold temp outside 23 inside 54. Room cost 144.00 but should be 75.00 less for sure. The beds had plywood on them to make the mattress feel more firm, didn’t work. Sorry never again. May not use Expedia any more either, there are sites that give better supported ratings.
