Extended Stay America Suites - Meadowlands - Rutherford

Location was good. Everything else was HORRIBLE.

Everything was FILTHY. I would have left but it was Friday and I had family coming and no other option. The staff was uncooperative right from the start. The room wasn’t ready when they said it would be EVEN THOUGH IT WAS CONFIRMED. I asked to see the room before I checked in and was told “WE DON’T SHOW ROOMS”. I said but it’s MY room and she said you have to check in and if you don’t like it have to talk to booking.com (no refunds). I got to the room and had to disinfect EVERYTHING and there were DIRTY towels in the bathroom from whomever stayed before me. And none of the listed “amenities” were there - no hair dryer, coffee pot, not a dish or dish detergent. For 2 people there were 2 tiny bars of soap and 1 tiny shampoo in the bathroom and nothing else. Those of the other people staying there that were in the lobby looked homeless.
