Let me start of with the property is gorgeous! Awesome view and the pool is gorgeous. It is definitely a more chill vibe here and relaxing. The bartender made the pool way more fun! Chill dude and heavy had on the drinks which I like. Breakfast was included with my stay and excellent! They have a small menu and there is also a buffet. The orange juice was delicious! Hotel Restaurant: The hotel restaurant was really good and the service was awesome! We had a variety of plates and I must say it was worth it. Proximity to town: You are about .4 miles from the city center. It's an an easy downhill walk from to hotel but walking back uphill back be a beech. If you're going to get all dressed up fancy just get a cab to drop you off. If you are in comfy clothes and shoes then the walk isn't so bad and you'll get pretty sweaty. Tips: Rent a 4 wheeler from right across the street. It's the same price as most places on the island and safer than a moped. I rented a 450 and it cost 80 euros a day which is not bad considering a cab cost 35 to 50 euros per ride. Get the 4 wheeler and use google maps and go to the "lighthouse lookout point" you'll thank me later. Gorgeous views and fun on a 4 wheeler. Also go to Kikis Tavern on your 4 wheeler! Very cool small beach there and the food is awesome! Only complaint: At checkout after everything is done and you are paying out I was caught off guard when they asked for a tip on top of what I had already paid.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Vencia. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything worked and we in good condition. The hotel is easy walking distance to town which was what I needed as I didn’t want to get into taxi’s all the time.

BEST HOTEL EVER!!!! The staff was absolutely wonderful, best sunset view on the whole island, food was amazing, pool is beautiful. I mean, it was literally the best place I’ve ever stayed.
Vencia is a small hotel that is close to old town but set aside enough to make it a more quiet stay. The setting and overall condition of the hotel is great. Staff and service throughout were excellent. The room is spacious and in good condition with some unique and less desirable aspects. We are not fans of the design where doors to toilet are frosted glass (decreasing privacy) and the sink is in the main part of the sleeping area (and drain water can sometimes smell). Perhaps this design was specific to our model - don't know. The walk to old town is a bit tricky but OK after you get used to it. Being close to old town but in a more quiet environment was a big plus for us.
