Hotel Residence La Villetta

The location had an amazing view and a nice pool area that shared it with most of the rooms. the staff was friendly and the restaurants and shopping in the main area were easily accessable.

No frills but lovely property on the hills of Cannetto. Easy walk into the main town. Large room with small but functional kitchen. Lovely front veranda/porch area. Nice pool with calm setting and some loungers. Breakfast was adequate, fresh croissants were lovely. Helpful staff with recommendations.

Par for the course but this is not for the faint of heart regarding flights of stairs! property is spread over many levels, you will be getting your steps in. No wine or beer opener in the room but got one from the front desk. Wifi worked well on the porch but was hit or miss inside the main room.

Excellent service, very comfortable!!

The views in Villetta were spectacular. We had a room with a terrace and a balcony facing the sea. The room itself was pretty basic, but it was big and very clean. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by lovely Alessia who made us feel very welcome. The bus stop to Lipari was about 50 meters from the hotel which was really nice. The pool area was really nice as well, with views to the sea and the mountains. The water was nice and fresh. I loved that there were lemon trees on the hotel terrace. The hotel was very peaceful.

The kitchen was not equipped very well, there wasn't even a cutting board. The breakfast was very basic and contained the same things every morning. The boiled eggs were incredibly over-cooked. On the other hand, it was nice that there was whole wheat bread and fresh fruit (in addition to the Italian sweet croissants which I didn't have). The "gym" was also super basic and there weren't any weights (except like 1 kilo weights). If you are a gymshark like me, don't expect much. All in all, I loved staying in Villetta and I am only being critical because it's a 4-star hotel.

La Viletta is really amazing pleace, located close to center of Canneto but in a silent street. Has wonderful view. Alessia was extremly profesional and helpful, definitely excellent Customer Service and experience. Thank You !

Good location, comfortable and clean room with the view from out terrace to the sea, very friendly staff, we would be back here
