I had originally planned to stay at another property in Seymour but when that property had an unexpected issue they proactively moved all reservations to the HI Express. Rooms were appointed beautifully, great selection of TV channels to choose from, very clean and safe property. Breakfast was your typical fare (well stocked and with hospitable staff) but the 2nd day wanted something alittle more so walked to the Cracker Barrel. My only regret of this stay was not trying a butter burger or custard at the Culver's behind the hotel.

We found our room comfortable with the exception that the comforter was too thick. Neither my wife nor I could get our temperature right while sleeping. With the air set on 68° and the comforter on, we were too hot with it off we were too cold. We recommend that a blanket is also included in the room. This should alleviate that problem.

The bedding didn't appear to be clean and the shower had a lot of hair in it. Very gross. Lobby was very clean as well as the breakfast area. Front desk was very accommodating and helpful.
