"King Kong lives here"

The hotel seems to be relatively new from its appearance. The room smelled lovely when we entered. It was roomy and comfortable. That is until King Kong above us started walking around the whole night. How do you build a hotel with thin ceilings? That’s ridiculous. Made the stay nerve racking and I was annoyed every night of my stay. If you stay here, and are a light sleeper, get a room on the 4th floor. If heavy walking above your head doesn’t bother you, enjoy! OMG! King Kong is pounding around as I write this! It’s 10:46pm. Good grief!

One of our rooms was next to the ice machine, so that was quite loud at times early in the morning and late at night. We were looking forward to a swim, but the swimming pool was closed on Sunday morning, which was a disappointment and hot tub wasn’t very hot felt lukewarm. The options for breakfast were good.

We were told one rate at check in—$144 each for two rooms, but at checkout we were charged $247 per room. The clerk said there was nothing we could do and we had to contact Expedia, which was odd, because we booked with you. I had her give me copies of our check-in and checkout receipts which clearly show two different prices. Can you tell me who to contact?

The room was spacious and comfortable. Modern decor. The pool has a slide and kiddie section. Coffee/ tea always available. The breakfast was delicious and varied.
