What a great place. Staff are great.

Two words – chintzy windows. Totally inadequate for the location of the hotel. The wonderful staff person who checked me in kindly granted my request to be put on the back side of the building, facing away from the highway. It did not matter. There seemed to be loud traffic noise coming from all directions and the cheap windows did extremely little to keep it out. The semis rolling past at all hours were not the biggest problem. Instead, this area has an overabundance of inconsiderates with overly loud pickups, motorcycles, and cars with modified exhausts. And there doesn't seem to be much in the way of quiet hours for these inconsiderates. I had to crank the TV volume to hear it over the traffic noise and I had to sleep with one of their nice dense pillows covering my head. Even that did not completely keep out the noise. I was woken up at 5:30AM one of the days by a modified-muffler car. Given the location and noise situation, this place needs windows with much better soundproofing. If you are a light sleeper or noise-pollution intolerant, avoid this place. It's a shame, because everything else was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-equipped. The breakfast was great. I would love to give it a thumbs up. But my stay failed to give me what I needed most – a good night's sleep. It was so definitely not worth anywhere near the 139.50 I paid per night.
