"Horrific Management"

Though the building in and of itself was nice - I attended a Veterinary Convention. I booked two rooms for myself and a coworker 5 months in advance. The night before I called the hotel and informed the receptionists that we would not be arriving that evening but would instead be arriving first thing in the morning but that we were coming and did want the rooms. The next morning on my way there I was notified that the rooms were canceled by the hotel. I called and jumped through some hoops with Hilton Honors and they were kind enough to get our reservation moved to a neighboring hotel (which was actually a much better experience). During a break at the convention, I asked the desk of this hotel what happened to my reservation. They informed me that no one had notated my phone call so they had assumed we were a no-show but that they would make sure that was taken care of. Fast forward to the end of the month and my corporate card has multiple charges on it from the hotel. I contacted the hotel and spoke with the manager (Mr. Reece) who informed me that these were penalty fees for being a no-show. I went through the whole situation with him after which he laughed at me and said there would be no refunds. I am now going through the Hilton Honors to attempt to get the charges off of my card. Mr. Reece will not discuss and will apparently not respond to Hilton about the case. Be warned - you will be charged for their ineptitude.

Clean hotel staffed with competent and friendly people. The complimentary breakfast was substantial. The pool and pool area were spacious. Would highly recommend this property.

The rooms have a lot of space for my family that includes 2 teenage boys. The breakfast in the morning is also very nice and fills us all up. We stay here every time on our way to and from Florida and have never been disappointed.
