Hilton Garden Inn Mobile West I-65/Airport Blvd

We stay here often….love a 12:00 checkout! The beds are comfy! It’s always a great trip when we see Madisen at the front desk! Now even a more delightful evening with Elizabeth at the bar! She was very knowledgeable and professional hope she stays! Heck I’d go the bar even if I were NOT sleeping there! This hotel has a great thing going on with these 2! See y’all soon !

Everything looks like it could use a fresh coat of paint. Room wasn't clean...Cheetos on chair and floor.

Good location

We arrived late on a Friday after a long drive. Only after getting ready for bed, I realized the deadbolt did not line up with the door frame and was unusable. The front desk moved us to a new room. We packed up and moved, only to find that the 2nd room had an air conditioner that made very loud noises. The desk clerk could hear it over the phone. He moved us to yet a 3rd room that was in better shape. It was a lot of hassle at a late hour, and the cause of those hassles were maintenance issues. The first two rooms also had dirty bathroom doors and dirty bathroom wallpaper. I had to clean off the door myself, and the dirt did come off - so it was just not cleaned by the staff. The elevators look rough from the inside. The 3rd room was okay, and the staff was nice, but the hotel needs some maintenance and cleaning.

We requested a pet friendly hotel. The hotel charged $75 a night for our dog!!! That is almost as much as the room rate. If a hotel is listed pet friendly the charge amount should also be listed

Everything was good, except the elevator was a bit dirty

This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was clean but the halls and common areas were not. The dirt and grim on floor trim and on top of things like the fire hose cabinet was thick. We asked for an accessible room which provided us with lower beds ad lots of hand rails in the bathtub. However, only the middle 2/3 of the bathtub had a non slip surface. And the commode was the most ridiculous thing I have seen in a hotel let along an accessible room. I swear it was one meant for an early elementary school. I doubt the seat was even 15 inches high. A person in a wheelchair would never to able to use it. Even an older person who has bad knees would have difficulty. The hand rail by the commode was helpful but it would much better to have a chair height seat. . The staff in the restaurant were more interested in talking with each other than in taking care of customers. The food was not up to par with other Hilton Garden Inns and we have stayed at several. The person who checked us in (I think her name was Kayla) was friendly and helpful. And the beds were comfortable

My first room had an issue with the power in the bed and desk half the room. They switched me to a second room that room had the same issue and there was peeling paint in the ceiling of the shower.

It was an older hotel and it does need some updating. But it was so clean and it smelled super good when you walk in. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Already booked my next stay with them.

The front desk staff were helpful and engaging. The room was comfortable. Only three minor issues: The curtains did not reach the air conditioner unit, so I woke up to bright sunshine. (should have put a towel on the AC unit to block out the sun). In elevator number 1, I saw something white dripping down the wall. It looked yucky. The shower facucet was backwards - rather than turning the knob to HOT for hot water you had to turn to cold for hot water. Thankfully, my husband figured that out as I kept the water running, hoping it would eventually heat up. BUT the beds were comfortable; staff helpful and kind. So my score should be a 4.75.
