Muy lejos del centro de Matera, no permite ir caminando para conocer los lugares más interesantes. Son 10 minutos en auto.

Fantastic hotel. Had been in another hotel where the food was surprisingly ordinary, so coming here was a great treat, the food was divine! I teach and teach a lot of Italians who rave about their food in Italy so I was very keen to see if it was as good as they claim. The restaurant was very professional and the meals were amazing. Sadly the stay was let down by the standard of my room. The balcony was dirty and I had to ask to have it cleaned and the room itself was shabby, which was a great shame. There were marks on the walls, the lamp was stained and there were chips in the table top. Minor but not what you expect and just shabby management. There was only a shower in the bath so getting in and out was tricky as the shower screen was fixed so you had to really manoeuvre yourself carefully to get into the bath. There were extensive building works being carried out, inside the hotel as well as outside, so a lot of noise. A kango concrete breaker was used outside for the time I was there, which was very noisy as paving was being replaced. Then one afternoon, a cleaner decided to clean the floors with the noisiest machine ever, and once finished, 15 minutes later it was cleaned again with the same machine by another member of staff!! Very nosy indeed. These works should be done when it is not holiday time, so March and April at a push, not May. Shame as the setting was amazing and the restaurant was excellent.

Non mi sono trovato male ma neanche tanto bene; i dettagli fanno la differenza e devo dire che forse sono stato sfortunato perché, ad esempio, non c’era bagno schiuma nel dispenser della doccia ma soprattutto (cosa non di poco conto) la vasca era completamente otturata e non e’ stato possibile far defluire l’acqua perché la chiusura della vasca (quella in basso da dove va via l’acqua) era non funzionante. Per fortuna avevamo prenotato due stanze ed ho fatto la doccia nell’altro bagno altrimenti sarebbe stata una tragedia. Sono cose macroscopiche che non possono essere lasciate lì senza alcun intervento e soprattutto non si vendono stanze in queste condizioni anche perché non è costata poco.

Très bon petit déjeuner, il y avait du choix. La chambre était bien mais pas au niveau d’un 4 étoiles.

- La piscine: pas aussi grande qu’elle ne paraît sur photo, pas utilisable (eau dégueulasse), en travaux? On nous a laissé utilisé la piscine payante gratuitement(parce qu’on a pas trop laissé le choix) mais l’eau était trouble, des feuilles partout donc pas entretenue. Nous n’avions pas été averti que la piscine n’était pas fonctionnelle, si cela avait été le cas nous n’aurions pas réservé cet hôtel. - Une des réceptionniste était très désagréable : pas un bonjour, sèche, antipathique. - Durant notre séjour de 2 jours, il y a eu un soir une soirée donc c’était bruyant pour tout l’hôtel et le 2e jour, toute la journée il y a eu un mariage. Nous étions à la piscine entourés de personnes qui se prenaient en photo… De nouveau, si nous avions été mis au courant, nous n’aurions sans doute pas réservé cet hôtel. - Pas de possibilité de boire un verre dehors (dû aux festivités ???) NB: je ne suis pas du genre à laisser des commentaires mais là c’était un peu trop pour nous.
