Montebelo Indy Maputo Congress Hotel

Séjour de 4 jours en couple : hotel avec bon emplacement , taxis disponibles , très bon restaurant varié : le buffet du dimanche midi est à découvrir : varié et copieux . Belle piscine avec joli plage-gazon : seul bémol , les chambres bien que grandes et spacieuses demanderaient une mise à niveau peinture , personnels efficaces. Hotel intéressant pour un séjour court à Maputo : quartier résidentiel avec nombreuses résidences d'ambassades.

Not a bad place to stay in. The language issue though.... ...

I booked two rooms at the Girassol.the first room was an normal room at $240 and the second room was an Executive room at $289.00 imagine to my dismay when both rooms were exactly the same. I went to reception and was told that they are different when they were not.I find this very unproffesional and it amounts to false advertising.I will not be staying at the Girassol again. Secoundly as a businessman sharing a room a gap between the beds would be nice,however this is close to impossible because of the size of the room.There are a lot of new hotels going up around the Girrassol so maybe this willhelp them change there attitude towards there customers in the future.

internet poor connection and not complementary, nice hotel for group of people , room confort average for the price. Staff very nice and Professional, restaurant good variety and quality of food

In theory the idea of villas is great but what couldve been a nice urban oasis was just a pretty outdated place where the staff was frankly rude and indifferent. The food at the restuarnt was actually delicisious but white tablecloth formal option-- no bar or simple food-- was just annoying. Outdate policy on charging for internet. Room had mold spots and acrylic shower tub felt like I couldve stepped though it. Closet smelled like mold. Gym was great though.

Com a chegada do voo ido de Portugal, que fez a entrada no Hotel acontecer perto das 00h00, ocorreu que esse Hotel não tem um simples serviço de refeição rápida, uma sandwich! Tivemos que deslocar-nos a um restaurante, localizado a 3 kms, para podermos comer. Pela sua localização, qualquer deslocação ao centro da cidade só pode fazer-se por taxi ou viatura propria-rent a car. No check-out, embora a estadia tivesse sido previamente paga, fomos surpreendidos com uma conta de 850MT, cerca de 23 €, por um transfer do aeroporto, que não tinhamos solicitado antes, nem de cujo custo fomos informados antecipadamente. Lamentavel!

the hotel is well kept and reasonably comfortable, however the staff are aloof and quite unhelpfull. Despite the stated opening time for breakfast being 7am , the earliest breakfast was ready in the week long stay was 7.20am. upon several requests i was assured this would be remedied, yet nothing changed. i was extremely dissapointed in the general lack of professionalism of the staff amd front desk management, in fact i thought they were rude in some instances.

Was very well situated. Very secure parking. Breakfast was an excellent buffet. Room slightly cramped, but clean and comfortable. Staff most helpful.

Girassol hotel was a pleasant surprise as I wasnt sure what to expect in Maputo. It's located within walking distance from the beach and offers 4 star quality service. Book in advance for cheaper rates, I thought their room rate was quite costly.

NO COMFORT, UNNECESSARILY COSTLY WITH NO FACILITIES. COULD NOT SLEEP WELL BECAUSE OF MOSQUITOS. ROOM SERVICE FACILITIES ARE ALSO NOT GOOD.
