Americas Best Value Inn - Palmyra/Hershey

We stay here yearly for a local event and have never had a bad stay.

The people above us were loud but that's not really the hotel's fault.

Breakfast was good with homemade waffles and hot eggs, cereal and oatmeal and such. Coffee was excellent. They use Styrofoam cups which I wish they would switch to paper cups.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly. The parking lot is well lit and because all rooms are ground floor there is a possibility of parking literally outside your door. The room was clean, no weird smells, fresh bedding and towels. They do offer breakfast, it’s not a sit down deal more like grab and eat in your room or even on the road. I did see a waffle maker but I didn’t get up for breakfast so I’m just going on what I saw when I checked in. When I was reading my check in contract I did note that there isn’t anyone in the office over night, I think it said only from 7 am to 10 pm, they do provide a number to call for staff if needed. I booked my room in June or July for October and got a crazy good deal. There were restaurants and a brewery nearby, I was in town for LVC’s homecoming and had plans so I didn’t visit any of them. I would stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and courteous.

The value, how close it was to Hershey, and it was surprisingly clean

A little noise with truck traffic but it didn’t keep me up
