Quiet beautiful location

Was acceptable but tired. Could do with some investment/ renovation

The swimming pool was not clean, and the food quality was below expectations with very limited variety. The room lacked basic amenities such as disposable slippers, coffee sachets, and even a bottle of water, which I had to request from reception, and it took quite a while to arrive. I understand it may not be high season, but the level of service provided did not reflect the value for the price paid.

The food at this resort is a rip-off. Outrageously overpriced. Nearly $10 for a plate of bland fries. Only the bar offered any relief with decent drinks and friendlier staff. To make matters worse, the dining areas are swarming with mosquitoes. It felt like I paid premium prices to be eaten alive .Save your money and eat elsewhere.Skip the food, bring bug spray, and lower your expectations.

A beautiful swimming pool and amazing sea view. They have a great cafe on the beach which is perfect for relax. The dinner is included and quite good.

First, the location is WRONG! In the booking map it shows the hotel is next to Kilifi bridge but actually it is NOT! Quite far away from everything I need and everyday I have to get tuktuk or boda for transport around 25mins-considering I have some plans around the Kilifi bridge so main reason I book it is I thought location is convenient- I’m not happy about that. And I checked with their reception and raised this issue, they said they will change it as soon as possible but for now 3weeks passed it stills shows the wrong location. And another big red flag - in the description they claim free massage is available - another reason why I chose this hotel- and reception said they actually don’t have free massage service now. I’m so confused since it looks like they put a lot of wrong information here which is kinda like a scam now. We have to argue with reception and finally got a 30mins massage. The room is quite small and old than I thought. But it’s clean so overall okay. Just hope they can update their information as soon as possible, change the location, and delate the free massage part to make sure everything is accurate.

We were recommended Kilifi Bay Beach Resort by a friend and it did not disappoint, despite it being the low season for Kenyan coastal hotels. We had a garden room which had a separate bedroom for the our child, which was great. We could see the pool and the sea from our room and both were just a short walk away. There are two pools and both were very clean, although the top pool could do with some maintenance. The hotel has lots of nicely decorated options for passing away a lazy coastal afternoon, although there is no play area for kids - which was a negative for us, although the beach and pool helped compensate for this... we built sand castles under the the beach bar platform, jumped in the waves and mostly had the beach to ourselves. No hassling beach boys either. The main pool has a shallow area for children, but no barrier to the main deeper pool. We were on half board and the breakfast and supper buffet were fine. The staff were friendly, especially the cleaners, the front desk and pool person.
