River Inn of Harbor Town

Our hotel room had a wonderful view of the river and was quaint, comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

Cozy, quiet hotel very close to downtown Memphis, in a beautiful development. Would recommend. TV needs to be upgraded to newer model.

The stay was good as always. I like the safe location. There was one, small issue with the bathroom lights flickering.

Classic, timeless atmosphere. Very quiet rooms with comfortable bed. Room is large. Neland at the front desk was extremely helpful with directions and the best ways to see certain attractions around town. Loved the parking situation.

More electrical outlets would be helpful.

The room was overall nice. It either appeared that the room hadn’t been stayed in for awhile because of the dust that was on the lamps or either dusting isn’t part of the day to day room cleaning. While breakfast was supposed to have been included, it wasn’t because the staff informed us that the cook had called in and there was noone at the moment to prepare food. It would have been nice to have an alternative option and to not hear the staff talk about the staff and management issues.

Wow - we have visited Memphis many times for weekend getaway and have never stayed here. What a delightful little boutique hotel located on Mud Island. We stayed in a corner room with 3 large picture windows and a view of the river. The room was perfect, nice linens, robes, quiet and large bathroom. We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome drink of sherry (I think) with 2 glasses. Breakfast at Paulette’s was included and it was very good. I had the veggie omelette. The entire staff was attentive and pleasant. To sum it up - I was I’ll definitely return but this time try to get a room with double beds and not a single queen for a little more comfort.

An excellent and quaint choice to stay close to Downtown Memphis with beautiful views of the Mississippi River

This was a great hotel. Way better than we expected for the price. The rooms were wonderful and the bed very comfortable. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. One staff member went above and beyond for us. I had left my wallet behind. He went and searched the room, and didn't find it. I then remembered it might have fallen in the trash can. He went back to the room again, and this time he found it. He made arrangements for it to be sent to my house and had the FedEX tracking number to me by that afternoon. A huge shout out to this gentleman. Thanks!
