Rooms are dated. Would love to see a refresh somehow. Stayed here 5-6 years ago and nothing has changed.

I made a mistake and booked the wrong day and they still looked out for me

On 7/8 My spouse and I checked in here at 6pm by 9:30 the lights were out. We stayed around for a couple hours for lights to come back on but they didn’t. Because we were only there to celebrate my husband’s birthday we left and came home. No manager was on duty to speak with so we left. The front desk rep told us that a manager will be in touch the next morning. Fast forward to the next morning the manager didn’t call. I had to reach out. She finally did give a call back. She told us that she would comp us for a room on 7/20. Upon arrival on 7/20 we were informed by front desk that we had to pay for the night. The front desk rep called both managers (NO MANAGER ON DUTY AGAIN) the first one said the same thing, we would need to pay. The second manager is whom I spoke with, that had rebooked us for the new night- she changed her words. The front desk rep relayed the message that we would need to pay again. We refused and left. Upon asking for a refund for the first visit we were refused and told that we needed to speak with a manager and again no manager on duty. So I went through the company we booked with for refund. This is where things get interesting. We were told the lights were out in the entire city for only an hr and half. That was a blatant lie! Then they refused to refund us because of this lie. We were only in the room two full hours out of the entire stay. If you’ve stayed here before you know rooms start at $300 a night. Truth be told I should of never booked they are RACIST. This is 2024, if you are racist you shouldn’t be in business. Shame on you for having no integrity as a company. I will tell anyone and everyone of how we were treated in your establishment. Count your days!

This property was outside of the city which made it feel much safer. Ample free parking was a plus.

Lovely room, enjoyed the Complimentary champaign at happy hour and the breakfast was amazing with friendly, perfect service. The only negative was the associated restaurant across the street was really bad food and service.

The rooms are lovely and exceptionally clean. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely return for another stay.

Location.

There was no hot water at the property. They did not let me know that until AFTER I checked in. If I had been notified I would have cancelled and stayed somewhere else. Very shady practice in my opinion! There was no apology or offer of a discount upon check out. So I paid $300 (including tax) for a place to sleep and a cold shower!!

This was a great overnight stay…wish I could have stayed another night or two. Checkin/checkout easy, Front desk was so helpful many times, bed was comfy, breakfast was included with lots of choices, very quaint, great area, felt safe. Will stay again!

Location, comfortable. We enjoyed a good dinner at Paulette and drinks at the rooftop bar.

The experience with the false fire alarm that kept us up most of the night.
