la qualità della camera è assolutamente inqualificabile: aria condizionata non operabile, gocciolante, pavimento sporco, bagno sporco e non mantenuto

The location, views and history

There were a series of things... 1. They lost our booking and it took a while to sort 2. The key card only worked for one day then either housekeeping needed to let us in or we had go to reception to have it reprogrammed 3. Coffee sachets in the room were not replenished so housekeeping needed to be sought out. 4. We were in the new wing...decor was tired and clearly there had been a leak as a bucket had been left in the hallway the whole time. 5. On check out we were presented with a bill of extras only....the room rate and total were then handwritten on. The staff just smiled when we asked why...and for a correct printed and itemised bill. For a 220 year old hotel....they need to invest in a better system. 6. The handle was missing on the outside of the patio door making it impossible to close if on the balcony. 7. The bottom bedsheets was to small to tuck in.

The location was good had many interesting items

Checking in was delayed by 1 hour we were there before 2pm

The rooms require a lot of upgrade.

Location, colonial style, ample food withe exceptional nuggets. Also access to sea and hotel pool. Lovely and comfortable bed.

Old rooms, poorly maintained and cleaned, at least in the part I was in. The first smell when entering the room is a musty smell as air con is on all the time and the guest is not supposed to touch it. Ultramodern smart TV but no instructions on how to use it. Room safe was impossible to open and therefore not put to use. There should be at least a bottle of water on offer.

the breakfast is very good , test of American , Indian and Srilankan

Room wall are mossier, damage and toilet are bit old
