Excellent location and value for money

Bit dated but great location

The location was perfect, in the middle of the CBD. Very close to restaurants, cafes and tram stops. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful.

the hotel needs a bit of TLC. The views from the window were not good although that didn't really bother me. Some of the other tenants were very noisy although by midnight they were quiet.

Rooms were spacious and clean. The location is great.

Location just off Burke Street is in a very central spot. Tram transport very close by. Restaurants and general shopping also very close. The staff are always cheerful and the Room towels were replaced each day as was coffee, tea, milk etc.

The room we had booked was at the very front of the hotel, being on the corner only a laneway on a Friday and Saturday night the noise outside was incredibly loud and got zero sleep due to this. The blinds in the hotel room were poor quality so all the street lights were coming into the room as well. One of the blinds was also broken so that didn’t help. We also only got provided 2 towels but had 3 people stay. Myself, my partner and my son which I stated on the reservation so we didn’t have a towel for my son

It had 24-hour check in, they had luggage storage and the location was great. The shower had good pressure. It had a good kitchenette, which we did not end up using but it was there, and the fridge worked well. They gave us new clean towels after one night even though we only stayed two nights.

The hotel was very run down. It wasn’t the cleanest and there was a bit of black mold in the bathroom. The bathroom window was held open by a plastic string and the ventilation didn’t works (hence some mold). The TV remote didn’t work, but you can still turn on the TV with the buttons on the TV.

1. Easy access to the CBD and Public Transport 2. Friendly staff 3. Were willing to allow a late check out 4. Comfortable and clean room and cheap for the location!
