Comfort Inn Lancaster at Rockvale

Breakfast was ok. Nothing special.

The first room, the toilet broke first thing our first morning there. First they said there would be a repairman. Then called us over to desk to tell us to pack up, we were moving. When asked to what room, they did not know. We told them once a room was chosen, we would pack up. The next room, the toilet worked but the aesthetics were bad. The curtains were hanging off the door at the top as they didn’t connect to the rod. Also, did not like having a door to the outside. When telling the desk agent that we were unable to close the drapes to shield from outside, he insisted that the drapes could be closed and said he would show us….with attitude, I might add. Our room was very far from the front desk and he used some short cut, that he didn’t share with us, and we were made to walk the whole way. We are two women in our 70’s. He merely walked in, pulled the heavy curtain across, not speaking, and walked out. At one point my roommates card key did not work which entailed another trip to front desk. The toilets are very short and need upgraded to the comfort type. Both showers we encountered were very slippery. It was very hard to stand in without sliding. The cleaning staff encountered in the hallway seemed pleasant enough, but the front desk agents were curt and inhospitable. I felt as if we were staying in a low end hotel.
