Clean and expect a common standard from holiday inn

The air conditioning was not working and was not aware the whole hotel system was not working till the next day. Did not sleep because of the extreme heat in the room.

Staff were lovely, comfortable bed

Shower leaked, only decaffeinated coffee in the room, lighting in the room was complicated - took 5mins to work out how to turn on due to not knowing two cards were needed in the slot. Then unable to turn bedside lights on without full lights

"No AC in two years"

The hotel was fine for the price. The three stars has to do with the fact of the lack of air conditioning. We stayed here two years ago and the signs said the AC was out of order. Turn up this year and the same signs are still up, with a fan placed in the room. So clearly they do NOT ever have AC and have no intention of fixing it. Lucky for us the weather had cooled a bit but had this been a few weeks ago during the heat wave I would have been really annoyed.
