Maya Beach Resort

A very beautiful setting and the facilities and staff were terrific. The pool environment and food was very good quality, and access to the sea very good even if there wasn’t a beach.

A bit difficult to access via car due to the steep slope roadway leading to the property but this also made it remote and special. The Saturday night pool party went until 4am… they could have tone the music down after 1 or 2am at the latest

Amazing breathtaking place to rewind and enjoy quality beach mountain climate nature we love it and Branda at customer service was amazing as well as all the stuff

I regret to say that my stay at Maya Beach Resort from July 23 to July 25, 2024, was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, despite the attractive location and views. Firstly, the room cleaning service was abysmal. During our two-night stay, our room was not cleaned on July 24, even though we were out at the pool from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It wasn’t until we complained that the room was finally attended to, but even then, fresh towels and bed linens were not provided. This level of neglect is simply unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that claims to be of high standard. Secondly, we endured multiple power outages that made our stay a nightmare. On July 24, the outages started at 6:30 AM, and though we initially dismissed them as an early morning inconvenience, things only got worse. On July 25, the power was out from 6:15 AM to 8:00 AM, 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM, and again from 9:00 AM until we checked out at 11:00 AM. These outages prevented us from accessing our room with the key card, taking showers, drying our hair, charging our phones, or even just relaxing before departure. It completely disrupted our plans and made our stay extremely stressful. Despite these serious issues, no adequate measures were taken by the staff to address them. To make matters worse, it has now been over a month since I reported these problems to the hotel, and I still haven’t received a single response. This complete lack of customer care only adds to the overall negative experience. I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone. The combination of poor service, frequent power outages, and the hotel's failure to address these problems makes it, without a doubt, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

If you are after a remote location to rest, this is lovely. Weekends however music is loud in evenings.

Their music/playlist feels like it’s on repeat after a week of staying there. I think more chilled music would be nicer by the pool and crank it up in the late afternoon with the dance music . The music was a bit much first thing in the morning by the pool.

The property has an amazing pool and beach and great views from the room.

The staff were very hostile, not friendly at all. I think this is inportant for guests, since i am a hotel manager myself i was surprised by the unfriendly staff who made me feel uncomfortable if i asked questions
