Hampton Inn South Kingstown - Newport Area

I paid for a 2 room, suite based on website pics. Went to check in and it was a single room that had no privacy. The pool and the business center were closed down for unknown reasons. Bed was as hard as a rock and no housekeeping services!!!! Lady at front desk was extremely rude when I asked why this place was not up to par.

We love this Hampton inn. So close to everything beach, fishing, point Judith and Newport. Super clean and a great breakfast

check in was slow, although staff was friendly and courteous. Then no hot water in the room, which we didn't discover till the morning. Only could get luke warm temp.

It is a solid place to stay when visiting the area. Close to beaches and a small village of restaurants, a brewery and medical facilities in walking distance. I’d recommend it.

The desk staff was amazing. There were a lot of issues (phones, elevator, short staffed - cleaning) and they handled it with poise and professionalism. The older new blond ( I forget her name sorry) and Tricia especially were top notch.

We paid $500 a night and our room wasn’t cleaned (trash emptied or fresh towels). We had to track down the cleaning staff to get towels.

Elevators were out almost the entire stay. Extra mattress was in a poor condition and was more like a box spring.

The entire staff was super polite and friendly upon arrival and when I checked out. They made the entire process super easy and stress free. I loved the space, it was in a very safe and in a great area with lots of restaurants/shops. The hotel was very clean and had free breakfast which was a great touch. I would absolutely book again!

Room wasn't ready until almost 4. Everyone is really nice. We had a family with a dog staying next door and could hear absolutely everything. The dog barked a lot. Families make noise so that is understandable but it was late and their dog was annoying. The elevator went down and my mom who needed an accessible room was forced to tape stairs. Not the best
