Hampton Inn & Suites West Bend

Second day. Room not made up. Used towels on floor. Beds not made. No coffee for next day, etc. Front desk said we clean every other day unless you ask for it. This is a Hampton Inn???

Cleanliness

Putting an extra $50 charge initially on my charge card for incidentals. We did not use this. I understand it was refunded but I don't like being charged beforehand.

We were booked into a room that had no black out shade or curtains. So…we had lights from outside all night and the sun at dawn. The hotel was aware of this when I called the front desk but had gone ahead and put us in this room.

Very good location, staff were super nice.

Excellent stay! Hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I was a little early for check in and offered to come back. Patti (the FD agent) offered to see if another room was ready but noticed we needed an accessible room. She immediately checked with the executive housekeeper to see if my room was clean. It was and I was able to check in right away.

We stay at this hotel every August. The rooms have received some nice updates since our stay last year. We are always happy with the overall cleanliness and condition of the rooms and common area. The two main drawbacks remain the same every year. This would be that the water pressure is not that great, requiring you to use laser mode on the shower head if you have an higher flow shower at home. Also, the rising cost even when booked far in advance. We stayed 2 days this year instead of 3 because a weekday was as expensive as a weekend.
