Sapporo Grand Hotel is a little dated, but still a good choice for Sapporo given its excellent location right next to Odori park and about half way between the station and Susukino crossing. Our first room in the main part of the building had a bad odor, but we were given a different room in the annex part of the building, and it was very comfortable. The hotel has its own entrance/exit to the underground walkway making it super convenient in rainy weather.
