Clanard Court Hotel

I stayed here for two nights. Everything was fine; however, one thing at the bar/restaurant annoyed me. We were there for a family dinner the night before a wedding. There were about twenty of us at the table. My son, who is twelve, was sitting across from me. He had a can of Coke that he had gotten from the shop and was saving for the room; the can was beside him on the chair and unopened. The barman came straight over. In my opinion, he was quite rude and said that drinks were not allowed to be brought in from outside. I did not want to make a scene, so I just said, "Okay." I thought this was extremely over the top, as the can was unopened and not on the table. My son, who has autism, was very upset about the situation, as he thought he had done something wrong. There were twenty of us at the table having a meal. I do not know what the final bill was, but I think getting upset about an unopened can was a bit much.

We had our wedding here last Friday , wow wat can I say , it was amazing from start to finish, the staff, the food , the hotel was brilliant , Emma our wedding planner is amazing at her job , highly recommend this hotel over over again. Tanks for everything Suzanne & Paul Allen

We stayed here as a family of 4 on the 16th of March and are already booking a return stay . The hotel is gorgeous, warm and spotlessly clean . The food in the bistro is excellent and the bar manager Pitor is the best bar manager I have come across in a long while. He is excellent at his job, lovely to all the customers and a real asset to the hotel . The receptionist was a lovely lady too and breakfast on St.Patrick's day was served by very cheerful staff. A lovely hotel all round. Well done to all the staff 👏

Whilst I did not stay overnight, I attended the hotel for a meal and I would highly recommend it. Food was delicious and the staff were lovely. The hotel is beautiful inside - interior decor is very classy & elegant. There is great parking too.

Nice setting and presented well. It has a warm and inviting appeal.

It’s a shame it doesn’t have a full spa with pool and gym.

Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Hotel is very clean. Restaurant on site is very comfortable and food is good. Breakfast is very good with many choices.

On arrival, our room was a bit cold but staff provided a heater and this problem was solved very quickly and we had no issues from then on
