Holiday Inn Express Ada by IHG

The weekday staff was amazing! They were so helpful and kind. They worked hard to make sure that everyone on our team was taken care of. The weekend desk man was not helpful and rude to us and others from our team. After being told there could be a late check out, a member of our team was kicked out of their room on the spot. The bathroom in our room had hair in the walls of the shower and some type of bugs in a pile one the floor. The breakfast was ok. The pool was not open, this was stated on the listing. Not many options in Ada, OK though. We will be paying the extra to stay at the Hampton Inn next time.

This goal was remodeling, which normally isn't a problem but it would have been nice to know the pool was closed. The room was clean and was a good size. The breakfast wasn't great. The biscuits were hard and the eggs were cold. However the coffee was pretty good.

I reserved a suite with 2 queen beds & a pull out. They gave my room to someone else and did not have anything available to meet our needs. We had to go to another hotel but that late in the day we were unable to get the right accommodations. It really put a damper on our family time.

We booked this hotel only because of the indoor pool. Unfortunately, it was closed for renovation. I know the managers have no control over this, but an update on the listing would have been helpful. The rooms were decent, we upgraded to a suite, but it seemed not much different than what a regular room would be. The door to our room did not shut properly. You had to force it to shut each time you came in and out of the room and it made a terribly loud sound. Our room did not have any curtains, simply a sheer shade. There was no light blocking curtain of any kind. The sun shines directly into the room in the morning and was impossible to sleep after sunrise. The rooms were clean and staff friendly. I feel that this hotel could use some major upgrades, which is seems like they may be doing based on the many shipping containers in the parking lot. The breakfast was not as good as other Holiday Inn Express breakfasts. Biscuits hard as rocks, coffee terrible, but the kids enjoyed the pancakes. Overall, I was disappointed but hope that renovations could improve this location.
