This is a clean, safe and friendly space. it is not a destination hotel but a great stopover on your way to the keys or Everglades. Not in the greatest area but felt just fine for a rest before getting back on the road.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Keys Gateway for our first holiday together, and it couldn’t have been a sweeter start. From check‑in, the staff were kind, attentive, and even helped fix a double booking I’d made by mistake. Our room was lovely: two comfy double beds, a bright vanity area, and a great bathroom. We could hear the neighbours a little and the AC was on the louder side, but it didn’t take away from how relaxed we felt. My boyfriend loved the firmness of the mattress and side table lighting. Breakfast had a nice self‑service selection, perfect before a day cycling in the Everglades or driving down to the Keys. A really special stay for us, and I’d love to bring my boyfriend back again.
