Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Maryville by IHG

The pool water was so warm, unlike most motels. Loved it. There was an obvious crack all around the door where it didn’t seal tight. We put towels around it, luckily there wasn’t any noise in the halls so it wasn’t an issue.

Staff was great rooms clean and comfortable but best of all was the breakfast

Comfortable rooms, clean and well maintained. Breakfast was well cooked and varied. Location was on main street but traffic noise was minimal. Nice tub for washing kiddos and the pool, though small, was warm and clean.

Our room was not clean. There was alcohol bottles behind the chair. The floor had not been vacuumed as there was dust and dirt on floor. The bed was ok. The breakfast was very good, probably the best we have encountered.

As someone who travels frequently for work, and is a club member, I was beyond let down with my experiences at this property. I paid a pretty penny for an executive suite to find it absolutely filthy to the point where I felt more comfortable sleeping on the chair. The sheets look like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. There were... certain body hairs.. on the side of the bath tub and on the floor. There were hairs on the toilet and all over the counter. The desk and night stand had smeared residue covering them. The tv also did not work. To top it off, the eggs and sausage on the breakfast line were burnt. My one positive was the home made cookie butter beignets.

Friendly, professional staff. Very clean. Great breakfast!

An absolutely filthy hotel. The only thing this hotel did successfully was ensure that I never stay at any Holiday Inn Express again. Management should be ashamed of themselves.

I stayed at this hotel for 20 days for work, and while the overall services were acceptable, the room cleaning service was nonexistent. Not once did housekeeping come by—my sheets were never changed, the floor was never vacuumed, and the bathroom was never cleaned. For a short stay, it might be manageable, but for a longer visit, this lack of cleanliness is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend it if you expect proper housekeeping during your stay.
