Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Bryan-Montpelier by IHG

At the end of a long day riding motorcycle they were perfectly located at the end of a days ride.

Heads up to traveling pet owners. Disappointed to arrive at hotel and learn the “at hotel” pet fee was significantly higher than the pet fee on Hotels.com site. Now sharing with other pet owners the trend to charge any amount, and when travelers arrive at midnight we are surprised with a new, non-negotiable and higher fee. The hotel check-in agent states, “it’s on our website. I can give you a refund.” There is also a typed paper memo taped to the entry door. No care for the midnight arrival. No care for the discrepancy. Feels like a shake down. So, what do you do? Pay the fee or drive on? After we experienced the stare down we left. No more Holiday Inn Express for us.

Hotel looked nice from outside and inside but room was weird was super humid and bed felt wet was hard to breath in room we left room early drove back home very disappointed ☹️

Just something to note: It would have been nice to disclose the pet fee on Expedia (who I booked through out of sheer convenience) but it wasn't a deal breaker when we arrived at checked in. The room was pleasant with comfortable beds and lots of pillow options. Ample towels in the bathroom and the shower had plenty of hot water pressure.The morning breakfast was very enjoyable with many options. May I suggest some non dairy milk options to add to your breakfast buffet. My son while not complaining ate dry granola because he is vegan. He still had many options to choose from. Overall was a pleasant stop on our journey to Utah

Holiday Inn ROCKS! 99% of the time, Holiday Inns are awesome! Perfect hotel after a long drive!!

We had an enjoyable stay without any complaints

This hotel was conveniently located off of I-90, and made it ideal for a stop on my drive out to Chicago. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick check in, the cleanliness of the hotel lobby area and my room. The fitness room was small but well equipped so I could get a good workout in after a day of driving. I had a quiet room that overlooked fields in the back. I felt safe and comfortable and I got a decent nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was decent too.

The only drawback for this hotel is that if you want dinner, you're going to have to drive a bit down into Montpelier or Bryan as the options directly around the hotel are limited. I was not inclined to go out again, so I ended up eating the snacks I brought for dinner.

Staff very nice. Room basically clean. Breakfast good

Rug in room a little smelly. Had to bring out room spray. Showe not good

Maybe start the breakfast a little earlier time
