We had an unexpected stay in Reynosa. I figured this would be a safer place to stay; I was more than happy to pay extra for that. The room was nice, a bit quaint. The hotel entrance was fancy. We went to check in, after reserving via Expedia. The girl seemed annoyed after looking us up and asked how we were paying. We told her by card and she charged it. The next morning,I found that was charged both by Expedia and the Hotel. This has been a headache. Another reason we opted for the hotel was the free breakfast. Oh, nope, not free for us. We had to pay; it was not included. The water pressure was a bit low and didn't get very hot. Other than this, it was a good experience. The breakfast buffet (that we paid 200 pesos per adult) was great.

"Wonderful Staff"

Our room was facing inside the courtyard and was very quiet. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar with accommodating, friendly and wonderful staff. For travelers who do not speak Spanish, Selina at the front desk is the person you want to be friends with! She is awesome! The king size bed was the perfect softness with lots of pillow choices for a great sleep. The bathroom and amenities are typical of a Holiday Inn. Room service was fast and friendly too. This is the only hotel I would stay at in this city.

1 The bathtube drain did not work 2 The phone was on bad conditions to make a call. 3 The laundry and room service never answer the phone. 4 No shampoo neither s0ap and towels for two persons.
