The cleaning service starts very early. You can hear dashing and bashing and cant sleep really. Maybe I was unlucky but still a bit spoiled sweet morning sleep

My daughter and I attended the Slam Dunk Festival so the hotal was busy. The staff, however, were polite, courteous and professional with sound local knowledge and exceeded our expectations throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent, a good variety, with the hot food fresh and tasty.

The price, £152, is the most I have ever paid for a hotel room that I am sure was inflated due to the festival, it happens but it should not. The same room, for this Sunday, would cost £78 booked today. The staff, to their credit, adapted a double room to a twin room for us.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, lots of food choices, hot drinks and juices with take away options. It was a great start for the day ahead.

It was too warm in the room and the was no way to turn the heating down even though we asked at reception.
