We booked the family suite and it was very large and roomy. Two bedrooms with a kitchenette.
I always stay here when I'm in town. Always a clean, comfortable room, and the staff are awesome. This place never lets me down.
The staff was super nice! Room was clean and smelled so good!! I slept like a baby!! I will always stay here when I come home!! And oh yeah, the breakfast was really good!

The hotel is showing signs of decay. Carpeting throughout the building is showing the wear of so many oil field workers staying there. The building also has an old locker room smell developing. We found it highly inappropriate for the staff taking care of the breakfasts making derogatory statements out loud, lacked with vulgarities, about the president of the USA. The television in the common area was constantly on Fox news and the staff gave you dirty looks and an attitude if you asked the to change the channel while in the area for awhile even if you were the only ones in there. The televisions in all of the rooms are set to turn on to Fox news automatically when you turn the TV on. Not everyone cares about that right wing propaganda network, or any politically slanted channel, jumping in their face when they turn on the TV. The lower priced hotels in the area are now a better alternative. Probably won't stay there again.

We enjoyed the pool and had a relaxing overnight stay. The staff was extremely nice and double-checked on our satisfaction with the accommodations, etc.
The staff was great. The rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast was so-so however,the furniture needs updating badly. I don't even think Goodwill would want this furniture. Mainly the chairs, sofas, ottomans. They were torn, worn, ragged and some desk chairs even had the covering peel off of them. Holiday Day Inn should be embarrassed that their facilities contain such shabby furniture.....and this was the highest rated hotel in the area. Otherwise, it would have been great. Would recommend to others, but would warn them about the furniture.
