Holiday Inn Express Doncaster by IHG

Stayed for one night, myself and my 16 year old daughter. Quick friendly check in. When we got to the room the sofa bed was also made up, on many occasions I'd had to be asked for this to be done at other places. The room was comfortable and the bathroom great with a large shower cubicle and massive fluffy towels. The breakfast was standard but small batches of buffet items that were regularly checked and stocked up. We've travelled a lot for cricket and this was one of the best 'over nighters' we've done. Would recommend.

Lovely staff throughout, made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Hotel modern and clean. All the staff very happy, chatty and smiley, particular shout out to Michelle on reception who sorted our late checkout, made up with the level of customer service. Also lovely breakfast 😋 Thankyou for helping to make my birthday a good one!

The room was incredibly hot and when I went down to reception, I was told that someone would come and take a look and no one turned up. Me and my family had a terrible sleep in the heat. The air vent unit in the room was set to the minimum it still the room was way too hot.

Staff were friendly at check in. We’re a family of 4 and our room was really small! I’d hate to have spent more than one night in there. The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but the kids didn’t complain. Breakfast was a total shambles! Had groups of people waiting for tables and multiple couples sat on tables that seat up to 8 and no staff to help seat people. Half the food was missing by the time we got in there and I had to ask them to replenish the milk and knives. Then the juice machine needed refilling. It took absolutely ages for all 4 of us to get breakfast because of how busy it was and how quickly everything needed replenishing. Not enough tables, food and staff for the amount of guests! So that was a let down. I had to ask a staff member to clean the table we had waited ages for because he went to clean a different one even though we were clearly stood waiting with two impatient toddlers. He seemed annoyed that I asked him to help us.

Very nice hotel and stafg

Great stay, would have been 5 stars if the ac worked (it was hot) and the room was too small for the guest bed (3 in the room). Staff, food, bar and price were 5 star.

We stayed one night on way to somewhere else everyone was very friendly. We had a lovely cooked breakfast, they even catered for me with gluten-free food

Excellent value for money with very good breakfast included and free parking. Small room but ideal for 1 night stop over.
