Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Beckley by IHG

Not really anything about this place makes it a place that I would say I liked the bad overshadowed any good.

First, our 4 year old found a pill wrapped in a wash cloth in the bathroom. Second, the room we had was above the entrance to the hotel which also serves as the smoking area for the bar. People were out talking, laughing and yelling until 3am which could be heard in our room. Third, night stand set up next to right side of bed has clock in it. It has an outlet on it. It has a power cord on it, but nowhere to plug in. Fourth, Refrigerator was not cleaned out from previous stay. Will wrap up with no hot water. Luke warm is the best I could get the water to run for a shower. There were other things and at this price you expect something better.

The location was very convenient.

It was updated and clean.

The property was great and close to restaurants; however, the room above mine had guests with small children who were running and jumping until 2:00 a.m. This obviously made sleep difficult. The front desk was contacted, but it did not good.

Very good breakfast and evening meal and reasonably priced

My friends TV didn’t work and also his clock and they said they were going to show up he called Donna at the office and no one came to check it out. We really came for the pool and hot tub and both werent working. And then I had several 10 little thing problematic in my room.
