Hotel Monte Carlo Ocean City

I would speed up the elevator. Its very slow and several people complained during our stay. I know its out of your control but the homeless people hanging out by the church isnt good for the guest that are sitting on their balcony. The building should work on getting the church to disperse them and then come back to sleep/eat. They were arguing at each other and one came over to see if we had a cigarette. Thanks

The rooftop pool and bar area and the room was very comfortable. The view from the rooftop was beautiful because of the beach in the distance. It was nice having a restaurant within the hotel to have a nice meal at.

I couldn't get on the WiFi at all, no password was provided, I called the front desk for help and no one answered. Finding parking was a disaster and ended up parking in a paid for spot. Only one elevator and it took forever to get it to come to your floor.

Samantha/Tammy at the front desk was extremely rude. She was so focused on other guests she believed were causing a disruption, that she entirely forgot to mention that I wasn’t allowed to park in the parking lot next to the hotel. I explicitly asked “what are the parking policies?” and she said she’d “get to it”. I unfortunately received a $100 fine on my car, and was highly frustrated about it especially because I was not informed. I saw her the next day and told her about this and she tried to cut me off and say “yes I did tell you not to park there”, but she absolutely did not. I was with 4 friends and no one heard her say that. She also decided to add “we will NOT take care of that ticket fee”, when I never asked if the hotel would. I was just trying to express my frustration with her service. This entirely ruined my stay and added an $100 ticket to my worries. Thanks a lot Samantha.
